Vegan Smoothies often have a misconception of not being filling enough. However, when prepared with the right ingredients, vegan smoothies can be an excellent option for a quick and nutritious breakfast that can be consumed on the go! Here are eight easy vegan breakfast smoothies:

  1. Cucumber Avacado Spinach Smoothie:

A great option during the summer, this smoothie is filled with nutrients that will keep you going throughout the day

ingredients:

  • Half cup of vegan milk of your choice
  • Two big handfuls spinach
  • 1/2 small cucumber
  • 1/2 avocado
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Blend well in a mixer and serve.

  1. Banana Mocha Peanut Butter Smoothie:

Instead of choosing your regular coffee, go for a healthier option with a twist!

Ingredients:

  • Half cup of almond milk
  • Two tsp of Coffee
  • 1/2 cup of banana 
  • 1/4 cup of Oats

Blend well in a mixer and serve with cocoa powder on top

  1. Ginger Pear Vegan Smoothie

Ginger’s anti-inflammatory nature along with Pear being a rich source of Vitamin C, this smoothie is a health booster, i.e. the best way to begin your day

  • 1 cup of water
  • One tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • Two tablespoons chopped fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 pear
  • 1 cup spinach

Blend in a mixer and serve

This coconut rich smoothie can also be frozen and used as smoothie bars, making breakfast more convenient and healthier!

  • One cup of coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup of banana puree
  • 1/4 cup of blueberries
  • 1/4 cup of blackberries (any berry of preference can be used )

Blend in the mixer and serve with coconut shavings

This smoothie is an excellent choice to beat the summer heat and is packed with vitamin C, D, A.

  • One cup of vegan milk of your choice
  • 1/4 cup of diced mango
  • 1/4 cup of kiwi
  • 1/4 cup of pineapple cubes

Blend in a mixer and serve

Fruity Flavours packed with a kick of ginger makes this smoothie the best way to boost the immune system.

  • One cup almond milk
  • One ripe banana, sliced
  • 1 cup frozen fruit medley (favourite: strawberry, mango, pineapple, papaya)
  • One tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1-2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • One teaspoon powdered ginger

Blend all the ingredients in a mixer and serve

  1. Strawberry Oatmeal Smoothie

This smoothie is the perfect replacement for your porridge on the go and carries chia seeds which will keep you feeling full for the morning

  • 1 cup oat milk
  • One ripe banana, sliced
  • 1 cup frozen fruit medley (favourite: strawberry, mango, pineapple, papaya)
  • One tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1-2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • One teaspoon powdered ginger
  1. Soy Blueberry Smoothie

Soy milk contains the same amount of calcium as cow’s milk and yet is lower in calories and blueberries are a rich source of antioxidants and Vitamin C

  • One cup of Soy Milk
  • Half Cup of Dairy-free yoghurt
  • Half cup of banana
  • Half cup of Blueberries

Blend in a mixer and serve.
