Summer heat is something we’ve both endured and disliked much of the time; skin eruptions, sweat, and dehydration are all typical summer problems. There are various methods for rapidly lowering body temperature. The home remedies mentioned below are simple and efficient ways to beat the heat.

  • Coconut water: Coconut water is an excellent way to rehydrate and revitalise the body. Coconut water’s vitamins, minerals, and electrolytes make it a perfect way to rehydrate and re-energise the body when you’re feeling heat stress. There are numerous other advantages of drinking coconut water.
  • Cucumber: Cucumber is high in fibre and has properties that prevent constipation and dehydration in the body. Cucumbers are high in moisture, which is especially important during the summer months.
  • Watermelon: It is high in antioxidants and has a water content of 91.45%. Watermelons are a refreshing snack that will keep your body cool. It is one of the most well-known seasonal fruits, especially in subtropical areas, and can be found in almost any fruit stand or store.
  • Onions: Surprisingly, onions contain a large amount of water, which causes the body to cool down. Red onions are a powerful anti-allergen that also protects you from sunburn. Onions can be eaten in a variety of ways, including salads, raitas, and mixed with lime.
  • Celery:  Celery is high in water and provides vital nutrients, so it can quickly get you through the summer. Steel, sodium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorous, calcium, and zinc are all abundant in it. Celery is delicious in salads, on its own, or steamed with other vegetables.
  • Lettuce: It cools you down, nourishes your liver, and flushes toxins from your system. It’s tasty, easy to digest, light on the stomach, and great in salads.
  • Buttermilk: Buttermilk will help your body cool down and increase your metabolism. It’s also rich in probiotics (traditional buttermilk), vitamins, and minerals, all of which will help your body recover its natural energy if you’re feeling exhausted by the sun.
  • Fenugreek:  A cup of fenugreek tea will help you break a sweat, helping you to cool down. If you don’t want to drink a hot beverage, make the tea ahead of time and cool it in the refrigerator before drinking.
  • Aloe Vera: Aloe vera can be consumed internally. To make a drink, combine two teaspoons of fresh aloe vera gel and 1 cup water. This healing plant’s leaves and inner gel will help you cool down.
  • Pomegranate juice: It can be consumed on a regular basis along with almond oil. It’s a great way to keep your body temperature in check, and it’s suitable for people of all ages.
  • Peppermint and mint: Mint or pudina leaves, as we all know, have a soothing impact. It’s a spice that can be used to add flavour to any drink, such as lemonade and teas.
